MPED Patient Portal

Web and mobile application
Web and mobile patient applications for healthcare providers
The Patient Portal can operate as a web and mobile application connected to the provider’s LIS, HIS and other systems. Patients can book appointments, confirm attendance, reschedule or cancel. They can view and download available laboratory results, such as a full blood count, and receive updates about appointments, results and provider announcements.
For laboratories and healthcare providers that do not need registration or the remaining Patient Portal functionality, MPED also offers a standalone web and mobile application dedicated to securely providing patients with access to their test results.
- Appointment booking, attendance confirmation, rescheduling and cancellation
- Secure access to test results and downloadable copies
- Push, email and SMS - appointment reminders, clinic news and promotions
- SMS, email and push templates created and edited by your team in the application
- Family accounts - book for a child or parent from one account
- A clinic blog - create posts and reusable content templates directly in the application

Laboratory devices and HL7
From analyser to cloud without manual result handling
We connect laboratory analysers and selected medical devices with provider systems and cloud services. We receive and validate HL7 messages, then deliver encrypted results to LIS/HIS platforms, cloud services, the Patient Portal or a mobile patient application.
For a private UK clinic, MPED connected a physical laboratory analyser to a protected local integration service that automatically delivers structured results to Google Drive.

Patient Portal questions
What should you know about MPED PatientHub?
Can patients book appointments for a child or parent?
Yes. Family accounts let patients book appointments for themselves and family members, such as a child or their mum, from one Patient Portal account.
Can patients manage appointments themselves?
Yes. Patients can book and pay for appointments, view upcoming and past visits, confirm attendance, reschedule or cancel bookings from their account.
Can patients view and download test results?
Yes. Patients can view and download available laboratory results, such as a full blood count. We agree which results are available and how they reach the portal based on the laboratory systems and the integration with the healthcare provider.
Which notifications can the clinic send?
PatientHub supports SMS, email and push notifications, including appointment reminders, clinic news and promotions. Your team can create and edit its own message templates directly in the application.
Can the clinic run its own blog?
Yes. Your team can create blog posts and reusable content templates directly in PatientHub. The clinic manages its own blog content and patient communication templates.
Is PatientHub available as a web and mobile application?
Yes. The portal is available as a web application and a mobile app. We tailor the interface, branding, features and integrations to the identity and workflows of each healthcare provider.
Discuss your project
